Layout was odd. This was a 1 bedroom that has been turned into a two bedroom by placing a bed in what was clearly the living room. So to get to washrooms, the guests in one of the bedroom had to walk through the second bedroom (living room) which was a little awkward.

Great location and some great information on local bars and restaurants from the hosts. Came out quickly to fix an issue with the air conditioning. The apartment is lovely.

The shower head was broken but not unusable, which we reported at the end of our stay, hopefully this will be fixed for the next guest. It is not in a quiet location and there is little soundproofing, glass collections on our first morning woke us up before dawn and you can hear guests in other apartments - it’s like they are in the same room.

Sehr sauber, schöne Zimmer, zentral gelegen.

Position, forniture, beautiful apartment

Strong noise outside during the night time, couldn’t sleep. The water for shower was not coming so we had trouble taking shower. The electricity went out twice during the night, not sure why.

We loved staying at this apartment. We were two old friends traveling together and really appreciated two well appointed comfortable rooms in an empire period building with high ceilings and 2 balconies. It also boasted 1.5 bathrooms and a washing machine, great for the mid trip laundry. Max and Alice were terrific hosts available for questions and provided a pdf with great recommendations for dining etc. The location in ortigia was next to so many churches and piazzas as well as the sea of you felt like a dip! Highly recommend.

Could be a little bustley on the street but calmed down by 11. It’s to be expected when so well located.

L'appartement était fabuleux, très grand et très bien situé. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Syracuse !
