Perfect location. Lovely, spacious apartment. The host was fantastic and always available at short notice.

It wasn't clear to us from the description of the rooms that the second bedroom was in the kitchen/living room area (i.e., that there was no separate second bedroom). It worked out fine, but it would have been good to be aware of this beforehand.

Gorgeous place, excellent location close to everything, supermarket is next door as are restaurants/ wine bar. Good communication with the host. I forgot something and host saved it and delivered it to my friend. 20 minute walk from Corso Gelone bus stop but seems taxis could also access this street.

Bed was more firm than I like. 10am check out seems standard for hotels here but it’s really quite early and there is no reception. It’s a very beautiful and very old building (renovated very nicely) but that means no lift - but this was not a problem for us as we had reasonable luggage and were just a few flights up. FYI for those who pack more ☺️

The location was excellent although very noisy street with morning noises. Close to excellent restaurants and central to all amenities in Ortigia. Lacked blankets for bed, and drinking water. Only 1 bottle provided for 2 day stay and tap water non potable. Layout was odd. There were 2 rooms, each with a bed. In our view it would have been much nicer to have a living room and 1 bedroom. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
