3 Frenchgate House

Stayed before. The location is perfect with excellent free parking. Accommodation has everything you may need. Sure the property would benefit from double/triple glazing (main road out front so you can hear the light traffic);but this is a small town so its hardly an issue. Was allowed to arrive early.

Lovely spacious property, very well maintained and in a great location

There was building work being done on the property and it would have been good to be told that in advance of the stay. There were also no curtains or blinds in the living room/kitchen which we felt limits your privacy.

Brilliant views and so close to the town centre and restaurants within sight of the flat.. yet somehow nicely private to the rear with luscious greenery, a pretty church grounds and the start of the Easby loop riverside walk

A little noisy at the front with single glazing and a main road but that's always an issue with beautiful old buildings in town centre locations

It beautiful, comfortable and so well located. The owner is a great communicator. This is our third visit and this time the weather was so good we got to sit out on the outdoor furniture, overlooking the hills. Absolutely stunning.

The property is light, clean and spacious with lovely views. The location is central and easily accessed. It is great to have a parking space and also free parking on the same street.

Fantastic location and very well appointed.

The fantastic view means access to the building from the car park requires going up a steep set of stairs, the access of which wasn't immediately clear to me and required some explanation. Once that was sorted it was great. I was travelling with two older women who found the accessibility challenging but loved the apartment and location.

This is our second stay at 3 Frenchgate, and we have a third stay booked for May. We have friends in the area and this is the perfect hub for us to stay when we come to visit them. It's perfectly situated, just a few minutes walk into town. Both bedrooms are comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated, and the living space is incredible and suits our needs perfectly. It's a great gathering space, whether we're around the dining table or sitting in the living room. The kitchen is great - last time we stayed we cooked a ham roast and everything we needed to do so was there in the kitchen. Parking is at the back of the property down some sets of stairs, but it's sometimes possible to park on the street in front, depending on arrival time, which can be handy for passing things in if there are a few of you. During our stay this time it snowed, and the windows in the living room afforded us a beautiful view of the white fields.
