Apartment on Whaleisland

Everything was great. The host is very helpful and supportive. If you plan to see the Northern Lights, this is the right spot. Nearby (15 mins walk) there is a special viewpoint with a fireplace cabin.

We stay with our 3 year old son and Apartment was spacious and beautiful. Super clean Seperate bedroom with queen bed, beautiful living room and kitchen. We felt like home. Host was warm kind and super helpful. If sky is clear you can see NL from the outside of the house. We would love to stay here again.

Location is far from city which already we knows and we loved it for the nature

Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht , die Lage war für uns im Winter perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und für abendliche Aurora Touren Es war immer gemütlich warm (Fußbodenheizung)

Ein bisschen mehr Ausstattung für die Küche wär schön, die Küche ist generell der ungemütlichste Raum Schlafzimmer und Bad sind über den gemeinsamen Eingangsbereich zugänglich, das hat uns aber nicht gestört

Sehr sauber, schön und gemütlich eingerichtet , alles da was man braucht . Ein wunderschöner Ausblick vom Apartment. Thorleif ist ein warmherziger und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Er war jederzeit bereit uns Fragen zu beantworten und Tipps zu geben. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und der Abschied ist uns sehr schwer gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Bus ca 45 Minuten von Tromsø weg, aber es fahren so oft die Busse , das es nie ein Problem war. Die Haltestelle ist direkt um die Ecke. Wer dem Touristentrubel entfliehen will und eher die Ruhe sucht, ist auf Whaleisland sehr gut aufgehoben.

Todo fue estupendo. La ubicación es inmejorable: para los que van en transporte público hay autobús y supermercado cerca, y para los que alquilamos coche está en un buen sitio, con varios caminos en direcciones diferentes. Todo según las fotos. La cocina está bastante bien equipada (pudimos cocinar bien) y hay toallas, sábanas (edredones extra). El dueño de la casa es muy amable, preocupándose de que tuviéramos todo, nos dio muchas indicaciones de lugares y hasta nos prestó crampones para que pudieramos caminar y no resbalar. Desde la propia casa pudimos ver la aurora boreal (aunque no tan bien como en otros sitios) y eso que estuvo casi siempre nublado.

Ya lo ponía en la descripción y en el plano, o sea que ya lo sabíamos, pero no es una zona 100% privada porque el dueño usa la puerta y el pasillo también para pasar.
