Superb Stokesby Barn Apartment - Norfolk Broads & Norwich

Comfortable, clean, and with superb views. Easy to find and easy to live, this place has our heartiest recommendation. Many thanks Judy!!!!

On arrival, we were met by the host Judy. Apartment was modern, clean and tidy and met our needs perfectly. The large garden had partridges running around, which was lovely to see! A 5 minute walk took you to the main village of Stokesby, where you were on the river bank. There is a pub on the bank, but as there was a Beer Festival at the local village hall, we went there. They had a variety of beers and ciders on tap that had been brewed locally, or you could get a glass of wine if that's your preference. There were local bands playing at the village hall, and there was a choice of locally made food including pies and burgers from the bbq. The locals must be the friendliest people we have ever met, everyone was happy to speak to you and go out of their way to help if needed. The best sights and places to go were recommended by everyone we met. It was my birthday whilst we were there and we went to Horsey Gap to see the seals on the beach, then hired a boat for the rest of the day, until the sun set, where we took some amazing photo's. This is just a snippet of our 4 day long weekend, which was so relaxing and perfect in so many ways.

Everything was great although I would have liked a tiny bit of space to store food, bread etc. I got around this by moving things around in the kitchen drawers.

We really liked the apartment, it was comfortable and a lovely modern space. Ideal for exploring the Broads and surrounding area.

Location was very good and easy to find

Peace and quiet very relaxing, wildlife around us a bat to meet us near the gate and a hare at the end of our stay.

We liked everything about the self contained apartment, it was well furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The location was lovely, a little off the beaten track but that suited us just fine. Judy welcomed us on arrival and from then on we was left to come and go as we pleased. It’s very likely that we will be visiting this area again and we won’t have any hesitation in booking the Superb Apartment in Stokesby.

Perfect for the two of us. Rural location was exactly what we were looking for.

Couldn’t find anything

Beautiful location Apartment is superb. Clean. Modern. Comfortable. Peaceful. Nature all around. Close to The Broads and coast. 20 mins by car to Norwich Centre. Loved everything about it. Lovely welcome from Judy the owner. Plenty of room to park a car right outside.

Cannot fault in any way.

Judy met us in the drive and showed us to the property. She explained everything we needed to know and said if we had any problems just ring her doorbell. For the first time in a property we couldn't find any cleaning products, when we asked Judy where they were she said. Your on holiday that's my job to clean up. Footnote:- If you go to this area try out the Acle steak bar we had a pleasant evening here with a wonderful steak
