Casa Marene Ortigia

It was charming and a great location. A slightly quieter part of the island than the main tourist part, but still only a few minutes walk away.

The owner was very, very helpful. The apartment was in a good location and very pleasant and clean. The bed was very comfortable. In an original Ortigian building. Enjoyed.

The bedroom is upstairs but it wasn't a problem.

Lovely and well equipped apartment in a great location very near the seafront in Ortigia. Easy walking access to all of Ortigia island. Friendly and helpful host allowed early check-in, met us on arrival and and even gave us a gift! Comfy bed and great shower.

A couple of the light fittings did not work and the bathroom extractor fan was rather noisy.

What a perfect little recommendation from friends. From the Antique doors that great your arrival into a grand hallway before entering your unit. Soaring ceilings and antique tiling on the floor to a very modern apartment. Big shuttered windows opening on to a piazza overlooking the Sea. Perfect location close to all you need .

Stepping out from the front door you need to be careful of cars zooming by.

The apartment is in a lovely location on the far side of the island. It is in a quiet area. It is very close to the water and to the small beach. It was lovely to walk out the door and be right there. Alessandra was very welcoming and helpful. She was so easy to contact, and responded promptly. She arranged a taxi to collect me from the bus station in Siracusa and take me to the apartment, where the cleaner was waiting with keys for me. She also gave me a small, local gift to take home, which was very nice of her.

Great location in the quiet part of Ortigia. Nice size apartment. Ground floor there is bathroom and lounge/living area. Stairs to bedroom on mezzanine level, might be hard for some to negotiate. Ground floor apartment

Being on ground floor not a great view, the apartment was dark not a great deal of natural light came in.

Nice decor , modern and clean. Host was very helpful and organised a car from the train station to the property. Shower gels and towels provided . Good location and good kitchen facilities

Nothing really
