The house was amazing with an incredible view

Spacious apartment, great view.

Amazing view and only a short walk to restaurants and supermarket (down and up hill). Spacious and comfortable. Great outdoor space. Quiet and relaxing.

The deck was large and had a good view. It was great for evening dining. The drive up was narrow but there was parking right near the entrance. The layout was functional and usable. Large fridge and some welcome wine and water. That was a nice touch since it is such a drive to get more.

The property was at old and tired. It needs major overhaul. The door lock had been ripped apart and not repaired. There was enough hot water for 1 shower. No toilet seat. The range hood doesn’t work. Nothing for separating garbage. Floors and trim looks like the place had been flooded. The furniture was different than shown in the pictures.

The view from certain areas of the property is amazing.

The location, the surrounding area, the tiredness of the property, the assistance of property owner and the beds. Something was happening in the ceiling of the big bedroom where it was getting sawdust all over the bed. Either an animal or a insect. Property owner did not attempt to look at or fix. We were forced to use extra bedroom with horrible mattress. Ants were also an issue.

Far from food, but we ordered takeaway

We loved the dramatic views from the spacious deck overlooking the sea and boat activity. So much so, that at night we decided to cook or get takeaways instead of eating out as the views were superb and relaxing! Deck chairs and dining table furniture very comfortable (take insect repellent). A spacious, modern apartment with high ceilings, very comfortable air conditioning, lots of natural light and a basic, functioning kitchen and good washing machine. Great location to return to after sightseeing. We made day trips to the bustling Taormina centre, beaches and archeological sites, about a 20 min drive using uber. From here we also visited Mt Etna in our rental car. Not a lot of food options nearby if cooking for yourself, especially on Sunday. We shopped at a large supermarket on day excursion. The owner very helpful and responsive.

The apartment is located towards the top end of a narrow, switch back series of streets. We had a wide rental car and found the last part imposing to drive to and uber drivers also commented on navigating the relatively 'tight' street. However, once there, there was a park outside the apartment and an area to turn around. Kitchen facilities could include some more equipment to make cooking easier and the extractor fan wired in.

the kitchen equipment was extremely limited and attempting to cook a meal I don’t honestly think would of been possible. it is a lovely apartment it just needs some maintenance tbh, door handles all falling off and a broken toilet seat, nothing major but some finishing touches would help a lot
