Mosaico Taormina Guest House

We had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable apartment, right in the center overlooking Piazza Duomo. The wraparound balcony offered stunning views of the square, the sea, and the surroundings. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Taormina!

Basic apartment, top floor 4 flights of stairs, low ceiling above bed. Not for anyone we mobility issues.

Posizione centralissima, terrazza panoramica, arredamento moderno, doccia grande,facilità check in, travi a vista, TV grande, stendino grande, buon materasso.

Piccoli consigli: mettere tavolino con sedie in terrazza, copriletto, tappeto in bagno, moka ( o fornire qualche cialda per la macchinetta), far trovare all'arrivo una bottiglia d'acqua fresca e un piccolo dolce di benvenuto. Portarsi una mascherina in caso dia fastidio la luce mattutina.

The accommodation is in a fantastic location in Taormina and is very close to everything.

First of all, the room was not clean, and the only amenities provided were the beds themselves. The toilet seat was broken, and although the place had been partially renovated, it still felt far from clean. A major drawback was the presence of stairs both inside and outside the accommodation.

We stayed on the top floor and the view was indeed beautiful. Unfortunately, the room was really dirty. The bed sheets didn’t seem clean and may have been used by the previous guests. In the bathroom, there were used and empty shampoo bottles left behind, and the fridge was dirty inside. There was dust on the floor, bird droppings on the balcony, and even some forgotten shoes. There was also dampness on the wall, and many pieces of furniture were damaged. The place urgently needs better cleaning and maintenance. The owner was friendly, but unfortunately the house was very dirty.
