Aggressive communication, unexpected and unannounced charge of 150 € to my account.

Everything! We stayed in the 3 BR. The location, the view, the hosts. It was a beautiful time. Located right along the steps to the beach and upper Taormina, I loved being able to walk anywhere (or take the tram, which is a few minutes walk away). It was hot when we were there and it was lovely to have A/C. Also I will never forget the delicious cornetti! What kind and welcoming hosts, thanks for everything!

We had an incredible stay at Cohen Smart House! The host was amazing—welcoming, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The house itself was modern, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning scenery!

The views of Isola Bella from the balcony were outstanding. Location was great, a few steps away from the entrance to the beach and 200 mts to the cable car. We where 2, and I think the apartment can comfortably accomodate 4 people. Super friendly host, we did not have to wait more than 1 minute for the check in. The apartment was clean and the breakfast croissants were great. There is a parking in the base of the cable car, 200mts away. If you are lucky, you can find a spot in there. I would return for sure!

I would replace the bunk bed in the main room for a TV, as it would make the main room more enjoyable.

The apartment’s proximity to Taormina’s beaches was a highlight, but it was overshadowed by a significantly smaller size with only one bedroom instead of the two we booked, a narrow balcony unlike the advertised terrace, relentless noise from a karaoke bar below, and a hostile check-in process marked by baseless accusations.

Our stay at Cohen Guest House was a major disappointment. We booked an apartment with two separate bedrooms, essential for our family of four, but received a significantly smaller unit with only one bedroom and a shared sleeping area (sofa bed, double bed, single bed), severely impacting our comfort and privacy. The advertised terrace was merely a narrow balcony seating one person, far from the spacious setup with a sofa, table, and armchair shown in photos. Nightly noise from a karaoke bar directly under the living room’s sleeping area, lasting past 00:30 (one night until after 01:00), made sleep impossible. We’re fine with normal traffic or people noise, but a karaoke bar’s disruptive volume was unacceptable, and no prior warning was provided. The check-in process was hostile, with the host issuing threats of cancellation and accusing us of deceit over a registration error where I mistakenly entered my 17-year-old daughter’s age as 1 on Booking.com. It’s ironic that they accuse us of trying to sneak in a “free guest” by registering a 17-year-old as a 1-year-old, yet apparently consider a karaoke bar blaring late into the night, directly below the apartment, suitable for hosting a 1-year-old. It’s obvious to anyone at check-in that a 17-year-old isn’t a toddler, and I promptly provided all required IDs, aligning with Booking.com’s policy defining children as up to 18 years. Their failure to meet us in person—even if the they lived in the house next door—further undermines their baseless accusations, as a simple interaction would have clarified everything. The location near Taormina’s beautiful beaches is a positive, but the apartment’s discrepancies, relentless noise, and hostile management made this stay far below expectations. Expect Cohen Guest House to claim we tried to deceive them with an “unpaid guest,” but this is a misrepresentation of an honest error we corrected immediately. We cannot recommend this property

Location above the beach was exceptional. And the view overlooking Isola Bella just spectacular.

Check in was slightly later than described however communication with the host was wonderful to ensure we knew this.
