Wharf Retreat Unit 2

The location was nice and would have had a great view but the plants were over grown so most of the water view was obscured. The out door bath tub was nice but there was not privacy from the neighbors balconies.

This property had everything we could wish for, amenities, parking, location and a welcoming feeling. It would be ideal for a long stay.

Clean and convenient

Some doors could not be used properly—needed repair or adjustments. Stove operation unclear. And no place to open a suitcase comfortably in first bedroom on the right.

Enjoyed the balcony, bath on the balcony and the view. The kitchen was well equipped - good knives and induction hob. Very comfortable and extremely clean.

Очень уютная, домашняя, добрая квартира с 3 спальнями. Паркинг в гараже. Очень укомплектована кухня, телевизор с Netflix. Два туалета с душевой и туалетом каждый. Весь набор косметики есть. Чисто, красиво, понятно. Большая терраса с ванной. Квартира выполнена в стиле кантри, коврики, подушки, пледы. Нареканий вообще нет. Для душевного проживания очень рекомендуем.

Один минус - вида на море нет. Терраса полностью в лесных зарослях. То есть вы выходите и видите только изобилие деревьев. Вида на воду нет совсем. Но нам это отдых не портило)) В остальном квартира изумительная

The layout of the apartment worked very well for our family and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was great having two bathrooms and an excellent kitchen. The view across the water was lovely and we really appreciated the Christmas tree!

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen quite big, which was great. The kitchen has many amenities, but they are very used (coffee machine missing some parts and not working properly, milk frother does not work, pans are very scratched). The location was very good - close to the main street, beaches and neighboring towns if you have a car (Mount Maunganui, Rotorua, Hobbiton (Matamata)).

The apartment was not clean at all - like literally, no one cleaned anything, not even the bathrooms. We think ONLY the sheets were changed. We needed to buy cleaning products and clean the kitchen, bathrooms and vacuum the floor ourselves. Every room has a room fragrance on the floor, which tells quite a lot. For this price, one should expect perfectly clean apartment. Also, the pictures of the view are misleading. The bushes and trees have grown significantly since the pictures were taken, and they are blocking 2/3 of the view. This a a shame, because part why we booked this is because of the view. Also, I dare you to use the bathtub on the balcony - we did not dare, considering the aforementioned "cleanliness". Lockbox did not work when we arrived either - the cleaning lady did not close it properly so we needed to call the landlord to troubleshoot. And once we got the keys and got to the apartment door - it was wide open anyways so maybe we could have skipped that phone call (it would certainly cost less).

It was in a good location close to town

Very expensive for a couple. Disappointing that they could not at least provide milk. The rug in the lounge could do with a clean. There was no medical kit. I cut myself and there was not a plaster
