Wharf Retreat Unit 2

There was a great deal to like - location, view, space, comfort, facilities, ease of checking in and out...

Our only disappointment was the lack of some basics like tea and coffee, grinding pepper... One suggestion : I went with my sister and we thought the double bed should have been in the bedroom that has two single beds because that room is larger and has a large wardrobe. There was very little space in the room with the double bed, where my sister stayed. Otherwise, a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Location and unit was perfect for 3 girlfriends visiting NZ north island. Laundry facilities very appreciated. Indoor parking.

Lovely place

The property has a good location with sea glimpses. The main bedroom en-suite is very generous but the other two bedrooms are tiny and there’s no hanging space and no place for your suitcase. It would suit an adult and two kids but not three adults. Little things were missing – there was no milk left for us and there were no ice trays in the fridge. we were only given a single garage opener and a single front door key. so every time one of us went out, we had to leave the keys in the lockbox. You have to take your rubbish to the locked bins in the garage and the bin was full with flies everywhere. I booked for three of us, but when my husband stayed for one night I was charged extra for one person for one night although the website says the whole apartment is available to you. It is not clear on the booking page that there is a sliding scale based on the numbers of people staying. these things are easy to fix. If they were fixed, I would recommend staying there. .
