Location & Parking

The Larger/Master Bedroom had a real strong smell of Cigarette Smoke possibly even something else!?! Circumstances meant this room wasn’t required on the first evening, on the second evening I decided to drive home to Essex due to the smell as I had time and didn’t need to be in Uckfield until mid-morning the next day. On the final evening it was to late to drive home and I needed to be in Uckfield by 7am the next morning, so I stayed but had to Spray the room a couple of times and Plug an Air Freshener in for a couple of hours before I could go to bed.

"Perfect from start to finish."

Very clean and comfortable, perfect for our short stay with everything we needed, great communication from the owner, easy check in and out, if we're ever visiting that area I will be sure to book again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Good location as we were visiting various family members in the area. Plenty of room for two."

Basic supplies tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk provided which was nice. Flat nice and warm in what was probably the coldest week of the year.

"Handy location but a bit rough around the edges"

The location is great, really convenient for visiting family in Uckfield. The host was helpful, sending a message with the check-in information, and the key was easy to obtain from the lockbox so "check in" was easy. The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped. The bed was ok.

The bathroom has a mould problem which was unpleasant. The shower screen has the seal that is hanging off the bottom so does not seal and the screen is shorter than the shower head so also ineffectual in that respect. There was food on one of the pans in the drawer. The floor was greasy/sticky which was a bit gross, but being winter we had our slippers with us anyway. The location is quite noisy from the roads as it is in the middle of where 4 main roads join. Recommend ear plugs for sleeping! I think overall it just needs a bit of TLC!

"Superb"

Property was clean and inviting, and well equipped. Good location for road connections (Brighton/ Lewes / Haywards Heath / Ashdown Forest) and 5 ~ 10 minute walk to Uckfield town centre.

To be honest, I can't think of any.
