Valletta Collection - Merchant Str Apartment with large yard

Amazing central location, very spacious and comfortably appointed. Two large kind size bedrooms, two bathrooms. Great communication with owners. Having a fully stocked kitchen was great, especially the coffee machine. Very welcoming.

I left the window open and allowed several mosquitos to come in. Take some insect repellent if you want to leave any windows open!

Wonderful location on a main street full of bars and cafes. Initially we were worried about the noise but the bedrooms are at the back of the property and are completely quiet. The apartment is big, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. We didn’t use the yard but it must be wonderful in the summer.

Some of the light bulbs didn’t work.

Easy to find apartment, with easy secure keys in a key-safe box outside. Location was central Valetta and perfect for us, so 10/10. Apartment was very clean and had all modern day essentials including fast internet. Air conditioning was brilliant and worked very well and fast, essential on the scorching hot summer days. The washing machine came in handy, and we found an old clothes horse in the yard. Well stocked food market is nearby. 2 double bedrooms were located at the rear of the property, furthest away from the hustle and bustle of busy Merchant Street so were very quiet and comfortable.

We received a long list of DON'Ts prior to our arrival, which were unsigned. I can appreciate the worry and stress with renting, but we felt like we were treading on egg-shells before we even arrived. On arrival a note welcoming us to the apartment was written to a different person, or a prior guest perhaps? and on inspection emails to me had no names attached, so we felt the "welcome" was at best impersonal and cold. Neither TV worked, so the TV lounge area went unused. We checked the batteries in the remotes but the fault was no service connection. We are not big TV fans, but it would have been helpful for local news and road closures due to the euro PRIDE event and for catching up with world affairs and favourite late night shows. Most of the plants were dead, and nothing like the photo's so the "yard" wasn't a very pleasant looking space to relax either.

The apartment was large and well equipped. The private garden is a nice touch. The location couldn't be better. 5- 10 minutes walk from everything. The host was amazing with providing information, suggestions, and accommodating an early check-in. The host also assisted with picking us up from the airport with tour driver George. George was amazing. We used his shuttle services each day to get to some of the further tourist locations and beaches. I highly recommend using George to get around. Very pleasant and informative.

The appartment is very well equipped, the rooms are spacious and extremely cozy. In general the interiors are modern and serve a cool mediterrian feeling. All in all the perfect stay if you like the vibrant street life of Valletta.

During the feast season the fireworks can be a bit annoying. It's simply to much.
