Lucky Star Studio by Vallettastay

The location was great and quite central. (There was plenty of choice of restaurants for food and drinks) Having our own patio was good and private. The view of the harbour was great and entertaining watching all the cruise ships etc coming and going. The fireworks displays were amazing and the apartment was ideally positioned to get the best view. Everyone was very pleasant: nothing was a bother to the hosts - we got extra pillows when requested, they booked our transport to and from the airport. The taxi company was fantastic.

A couple of Saucepans for cooking would have been helpful and a few nonstick cooking utensils (pans were provided but not suitable for all types of cooking). A large teapot and mugs would have been great for big tea drinkers!! A parasol for the patio would be useful. The biggest drawback was the fact that the lift wasn't working - we reported it the day we arrived and were told it would be fixed the next day, but on leaving 7 days later it still wasn't working; 3 stages of stairs on each floor to get to the 5th floor in the exceptional heat was quite exhausting and would definitely be challenging for people not prepared or physically able for this challenge with luggage especially if they are unaware the lift us out of order.

Great location, view from the roof terrace, beautiful room with just everything we needed.

Lift was slow and didn’t go up to 5th floor. No umbrella on the terrace.

The terrace was amazing! Fabulous views and comfortable recliners. Apartment was squeaky clean

Needed more than two pillows & bed wasn't very comfy. Also the wind was howling & blowing through the gaps in the window.

Location and roof terrace great. Near all major attractions, ferries and bus routes. Quiet at night

Bed and pillows not very comfortable. Settee a disaster seemed broken and unable to sit on it. I saw this in other reviews but nothing had been done to change it. No coffee machine or cafetiere
