Fantastic location, high ceilings, great roof terrace. Good communication from host.

Ants in kitchen throughout. Bed hard. Shower does not drain properly. Sofa uncomfortable for sitting. Cost deserves a higher spec of hygiene - cleanliness and comfort wanting attention.

no service. stuff on the reception (300 m away) coundn´t give the requiererd information. poor equipment in the kitchen (only one little pot).

The air condition didnt work

Superb location for exploring Valetta. Great view of harbour from our private rooftop area (public - accessible to all building - section of roof was adjacent with a low fence but we only shared space on NYE for the fireworks). Main apartment area was spotless and well set up. Lots of (UK-compatible) plug sockets. Modern lift up to 4th floor - bit slow but clean and well maintained. Staff at managing office friendly and helpful. Not much in the way of street noise (people and traffic) as just far enough away from main businesses but worth being aware it's close to several sets of church bells, the twice daily canon and some fairly noisy (when trying to sleep) roof water tanks but after a day or two we got used to those and we weren't all that bothered by them! Soap and small toiletries provided.

Sofa unbelievably uncomfortable, I saw this in previous reviews and it desperately needs rectifying - you can hardly sit on it, it's so broken and saggy. Bed not the best and pillows a bit thin (one p/person). Bathroom needs an update, the fixtures are a bit worse for wear and towels a bit worn but it was clean.

The location and rooftop terrace were lovely.

Dust fell from the ceiling on to the bed and the lift was slow.

Accessing the property worked as per the instructions. Contact prior was good and responsive, mostly the same during our stay.  Staff at the Manoel Hotel were helpful on our last day when storing our luggage and booking us an airport taxi. Wifi & air con good.  Terrace - good views of a beautiful city.

Lift - step to get into it and to 4th floor only, so not suitable for anyone with accessibility needs. Very slow and small.  Interior of the building is ok, but could do with refreshing and a thorough clean. . Apartment is tired and needs some refreshing. Plaster dust comes down from the ceiling, mostly onto the bed, so we had to cover the bed in the day and shake it off before going to bed. During the night we were regularly woken by dust landing on us.   Sofa is old and broken. Very uncomfortable to use.  Bed is ok, but isn't great.  Additional cutlery is required, e.g tea spoons.  There's an oven, but no oven gloves!  Safe would be a useful basic addition. Apartment needs a deep clean.  I assume that the minimum is done between guest turnovers, but more is needed.   Terrace furniture is inadequate, old and dirty. Adjacent communal terrace is the same, plus other residents dont necessarily stick to the quiet hours.  The fence between the two terraces is damaged and a temporary fix is in place, but this adds to the feeling of neglect. No cleaning during a week long stay is inadequate, particularly when only minimal towels and toilet rolls provided.  The photos present the best 'dressed' view of the apartment, but they dont really represent the reality close up.  I can see that very similar feedback has been provided before and platitudes provided in response, so I doubt it will be acted upon.  On that basis I wouldnt stay again, or use the company again after some research into feedback on other properties they manage in Valletta.

Gorgeous room and brilliant balcony some have said there’s no privacy but it is, lovely quiet rooftop to have a cold beer on. The air con works incredibly well and was lovely to get back to. So central that you’re near everything you could want. €10ish for an Uber from the airport. Very quiet street but 1 minute walk to restaurant, bars and super market/food hall.

Only regret is not staying longer

Great view snd location.

The apartment has been very poorly maintained, as a result the furnishings are tired and grimy (in fact the bed frame was disgusting). Even worse, the exposed stonework above the bed was crumbling and as you slept you were continually covered with sand and grit which was made worse when using the air condition.
