La Duchessa di Volterra, 2 min Walk from the Historic Town, with Private Parking

Lyxigt generösa ytor och härlig miljö som bidrog till upplevelsen. Underbar utsikt och endast några få steg från stadsporten. Praktiskt med egen p-plats. Värden var snabb att svara och gav bra och tydlig information. Det är ett boende vi gärna återvänder till nästa gång vi besöker Volterra. Definitivt ett av de charmigaste ställen vi någonsin bott på. Rekommenderas varmt!

Mit wenigen Gehminuten zur Altstadt hat die Wohnung eine hervorragende Lage. Durch die großzügige Raumaufteilung können sich mehrere Personen in der Wohnung aufhalten, ohne sich gegenseitig zu stören. Ein zusätzliches Plus ist der Parkplatz, da Volterra eine autofreie Altstadt hat. Gastgeber Vittorio spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch und hat mit seinen zusätzlichen Informationen unseren Aufenthalt persönlicher gestaltet.

Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable room. Excellent location in the middle of old town. On arrival, after our luggage was unloaded in front of the hotel, they got in the car to direct me to parking, which was a close walk but would have been difficult to find without their help. They offered to assist without hesitation, even before being asked.

No complaints as all.

Un appartamento, che ha l'anima. Molto bello e alla porta delle mura di Volterra.

Alloggio in posizione vicinissima al centro storico, dotato di tutti i confort, molto pulito. Proprietario gentilissimo. Ottimo il parcheggio privato.

Casa grandissima, forse fin troppo, con posto auto privato; tanto spazio per me è essenziale viaggiando quasi sempre con 2 figli e 2 cani. Appartamento distante circa 200m da una delle porte di accesso al centro storico, valore aggiunto quando si viaggia per questi borghi meravigliosi. Il gestore persona squisita, facilmente reperibile durante tutto il viaggio ci ha fatto trovare cantucci al cioccolato e una boccetta di olio nuovo, gesti graditissimi.

La casa si presta a poter essere usata anche da 6 persone tanti sono i posti letto e avanza ancora una stanza grandissima dove poter aprire altri lettini per essere anche in 8 amici (magari), ma è presente 1 solo bagno; 2 sarebbe stati meglio. Il riscaldamento è dato da 2 grosse stufe a pellet che vanno regolarmente caricate e sono potentissime al punto tale che anche al minimo non si riesce quasi a starci vicino dove riscaldano magnificamente, ma nella camera da letto padronale purtroppo il riscaldamento arriva decisamente meno.

This is a beautiful home and provided the perfect home base for our 3 night stay in Volterra. The kitchen was well equipped and our host was very good at explaining everything we needed to know. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable and the house is quiet. The views of the valley below are marvelous. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Všechno super. Velmi rychlá komunikace Viktorie přes email, i v případě obtíží jako byl výpadek proudu. Spoustu drobností k použití, které potěšily, úžasná knihovna.

Extremely spacious apartment with all the facilities required. Gets the balance almost right between preserving the mid-century features (terazzo tiles throughout, glass doors and shelving) and bringing in modern comforts (eg multiple USB-A and C chargers). Both the main bedroom and secondary bedrooms are massive (for a Euro apartment) but the bonus is a third small bedroom. There is a fab formal sitting and dining, as well as a smaller meals and TV area. The views are superb, especially as autumn was setting in and the leaves were dropping. The pictures do no speak highly enough of this apartment. Perfectly positioned, just a 2 min walk outside of the ancient town so avoids the noise at night. For a Euro apartment the bathroom is big and the shower was hot and strong

The owner showed us how to reset the switchboard as it tripped when running both the washing machine and oven. Some eclectic touches missed the mark such as the print to the left of the entry door which doesn't really set the right tone for the stay - quite gory. Could certainly pare back some of the design touches as the do extend a further century or so earlier. Parking onsite is great but a little tight to reverse in to on a tightly curved road
