La Polena Camere Vernazza - Visconti Apartment

We loved the size of the room/bathroom and the central location of the apartment. Our host was super friendly and conversed with us in English. We would love to go back again. Beware the 40 stairs leading to the room. It does affect your decision making about leaving the apartment. But that’s all part of the magic that is Vernazza.

Good size for 2 though it would possibly feel a bit small for 4. Good to have the kitchen - bring groceries if possible though as there is only 1 small shop in town. Comfy bed. Helpful hosts, met us on the street and enabled an earlier check in. Also very helpful in assisting us to see a Dr after an accident in the flat. Great location a couple of minutes from the station and steps from the harbour - you need to be able to get your luggage up 3 floors of steps though (which we expected).

Be careful that the curtain pole into the small bedroom is fastened up properly. The bathroom stays a bit damp but the shower is good.

Comfortable bed. Lovely location. Close to train. Met personally at the train to be shown where everything is in the town, and accompanied to our room, even with our train being late.

There was no plug for the kitchen sink, and no tea towels. The shower doesn't drain properly. The heater was ineffective and made a lot of noise. No local information about opening times for the small supermarket and restaurants ... google was inaccurate so this was difficult.

The location was great, the property was clean and comfortable. Everything you could want or need.

Centre of town. Great space and decor.

Needed to wear earplugs to sleep. 40 steep steps from street to room.

Very spacious and airy room. Very clean and well set out.

The status to get to the property are very steep. This is normal for this area of Italy but something to consider if you aren’t keen on stairs
