self-catering apartment excellent

It was ok but not ideal to have to go to a separate location to get the keys

there were heaters but I needed a blanket for the cold weather.; especially when there was loadshedding

Clean and good location

The only good thing was the location. It was in good proximity to shops and my place of work.

The apartment needs maintenance. Broken flooring with gaps, damaged bulkhead above pendant lights in kitchen which looked like it could fall off. All of the cleaning equipment were on the balcony and an ugly sight. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper left for a 4-day stay.

The apartment block was perfectly located.

The apartment itself not the best position. It's located across the road from a municipal company, the noise that eminates from the activities happening during the week was not great at 7am in the morning. I understand that no one has control of loadshedding but there were no lamps, candles or any lighting available to us when loadshedding took place in the area, which I felt was bad considering it's part of the south african way to include the load shedding schedule into your daily life, so it was a bit odd that the apartment didn't cater for this!

The management company PROPR is a scam! They sent a payment link requesting payment stating that they did not take payment via booking.com - this was not the case. It resulted in double payment and I had to wait to be refunded. 2 days after I checked out, after midnight I received an email telling me they were unable to locate the keys, even though I had placed them exactly where they instructed me to. Another error on their part. This was only the start & the first booking!! It gets worse - much worse!

The Location and comfort

Not that I didn't like the view, but a sea view would have been nice ;)
