Room wasn't ready at check-in time. We had issues with hot water which was resolved on the last day of our stay. It would be nice to have AC in the bedrooms

A truly wonderful place. It enjoys a breathtaking view of Makris Gialos beach, which in our opinion is the most beautiful on the island. The apartment is equipped with every comfort (including a washing machine), very airy and spotlessly clean. Just one staircase and you’re on the beach. In one minute you’re on the main street with tavernas, shops, and supermarkets. The owners are two sweet elderly people, and their son is kind and helpful. We’re already ready to come back next year!

We stayed at Stavento Apartments for a 7-day break and absolutely loved it! The apartment is in a brilliant spot—just a 1-minute walk to the beautiful beach (literally down a few steps and you're there), which was a huge perk, especially in the summer heat. The apartment itself was clean and tidy, with plenty of shower gel and shampoo provided, plus parasols to take to the beach—a thoughtful touch that saved us from having to buy our own. There’s a spacious open-plan lounge and kitchen area, a large bathroom with a washing machine, and a charming balcony where we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks most evenings. The bedrooms were roomy, and everything felt very homely and welcoming. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—bars, restaurants, and supermarkets are all within a 5–10 minute walk. Our host was also fantastic—friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. They even allowed us a late check-out, which meant we could enjoy the beach on our last day and freshen up before our flight—a truly lovely gesture. Would 100% recommend and would love to return!

While the apartment is a little dated in places and could do with a minor aesthetic refresh, it was genuinely lovely and very comfortable.

The stay at Stavento apartments was fabulous! The view from the deck of our top floor apartment over the sea was breathtaking and we spent a lot of time sitting here eating, having a glass of wine and watching the sun set. We chose this apartment because of its close proximity to Makris Gialos beach and it was the best beach we went to in 2 weeks in Greece on 3 islands. The golden sand was like brown sugar and there were crystal clear waters to the sandy ocean floor. The best part about our stay though were the owners and little extras that made it extra special. We were greeted with a welcome basket that included a bottle of wine and snacks, water and juice in the fridge and the next morning the owner greeted us and brought us fresh eggs, olive oil, sweet peppers, and rosemary to make omelets. They included free beach chairs that we could use on the beach below which was an unexpected bonus. Before we arrived our contact helped to arrange a pick up and drop off from two different ports as we arrived and left by ferry and this was greatly appreciated. The apartment was bright and sunny and spotlessly clean and the kitchen had all amenities we needed. We even had a regular visitor, the family cat, who greeted us whenever we arrived and purred while hanging out with us on the deck. The apartment is very close to the bus stop that takes you around the island, to supermarkets, and a wide selection of restaurants. We would highly recommend a stay at Stavento Apartments.

The apartment is on the top floor so you will need to walk up a spiral staircase to get up and down. This is something to keep in mind for anyone that is mobility impaired. My husband is 6'2" and the design of the top floor apartment is a maisonette style with a slanted roof in the kitchen and bathroom. The shower is quite a tight space as well with a low ceiling. There were many head bumps on the low ceiling (and a few swear words) during our stay which was annoying but not enough to outweigh all of the positives.

The location is perfect, and the view from the balcony is amazing.

The apartment could benefit from a touch of modernisation to provide an extra level of comfort.
