Stavento Apartments

We have appreciated the property is close to the beach, however the access is difficult due to narrow road and stairs. Traveling with kids is difficult.

When we have come across the property it was listed as a top destination in the area (nearly 10 rating) and were expecting a quality accommodation. Unfortunately the reality there was far from the photoshopped pictures we saw in the description. Everything inside the apartment situated at 1st floor is beyond its expected end of life: furniture does not properly close, creaks or parts of it fall. The water taps, electrical switches, cabinet locks are rusty too. The doors and windows need repairing as well. The bath was by far the most disgusting experience due to the smells. Also the outside of the apartment does not have any private area where you can enjoy some time alone due to the traffic from the upper floors. The property owners are living in the same building, which is something we would have liked to know in advance. Access to the parking is made through a 2m wide road, the parking spot is very narrow, for maximum 2 cars. The price we paid per night, almost 300EUR, is ridiculously high for what we got.

the property was right on the beach. the host was also very accommodating with sightseeing suggestions. as a bonus, the property also comes with a very nice Yia Yia who lives on the bottom level.

Wow amazing! Great location- literally 2 minutes to one of the best beaches on the island and 5 restaurants within 5 minutes walk and 2 small grocery stores. The apartment itself is on the top floor with amazing views and outdoor patio. Everything you need is in the apartment and even a welcome wine and snack tray. There are also bathroom amenities and kitchen utilities. The air conditioner works well. Well decorated and strong wifi. The elderly couple who own the building are on the first floor and are friendly (like older people can be) - they even offered me food while I waited for a taxi. The person who met me was right on time to give me the keys and they even ordered a taxi to the airport.

Nothing but just to note, the bathroom and kitchen have slanted ceilings so if you are taller than 1 m 70 cm or 5’7 then you will need to crouch a lot.
