12 Sunset on Hill

Great view of the Atlantic and the Table Mountain! Luxurious amenities on the 3rd floor without an elevator, but everything else was OK! Rating: 9 out of 10!

Excellent cute and very clean

There is nothing NOT to like! It a home away from home!

The view

The cockroaches crawling in the kitchen and some appeared in the lounge on the TV stand whilst watching TV. One even crawled down my arm randomly and my child almost ate one. It was not child friendly and was on the top floor and was too much work going up and down the stairs with a toddler. When asked the host to move is because of the cockroaches, the host said it's not possible and during this time of the year there are cockroaches in CPT. When my wife told her that she was disappointed and won't come back, she responded to say that "it's fine, you don't have to come back, she has many other clients who are happy with the place" overall we did not enjoy our stay and couldn't wait to check out and leave. Not having the house cleaned daily included in the price to reduce or avoid cockroaches.

Great location, nice apartment.

But there was no lift, we used stairs which was a struggle my mom and grandma. The WiFi connection was so bad/very weak and there was no dstv. Terrible experience to have to but unable to use it.

I was seriously disappointed by the fact that I paid for the Table Mountain view which we didn’t have yet it was included in the ad. I booked for 7 nights of which there was minimal kitchen cleaning material (i.e. 1 dishwashing tablet and less than a quarter bottle of dishwashing liquid) nothing for the bath tub and toilets.It was only brought to my attention when I raised my concern that we were eligible for a free clean up of the apartment for the duration of the stay , which for me seemed like if I didn’t ask I was not going to get this.
