safe & quiet neighbourhood

We had big cockroaches, the faucet was loose when we came and fell off at one point and we had to fix it ourselves, the red brick wall in the bathroom kept coming off and made a mess on the floor. We are convinced that the cockroach situation led to both of us getting food poisoning which made our stay unfortunately even less enjoyable We tried to message the host several times for a discount but didn’t get any response. The amount of money we paid for this stay is not justifiable at all.

Not a good place

Not worth the price. Located in old part of Greenpoint. Converted whatever part of the house into a room with a small round table and 3 chairs downstairs. Bed upstairs, reached through a 90 degree vertical, steel, spiriling 13 stairs. No bathroom. Have to climb down the narrow stairs in the dark anytime of the night. No ceiling lights, all connected to plugs, with shades. A 65 year old like me did not have joy at all.

Left my charger and adapter behind. Notified the host the same day and unfortunately was not found! 😞

It was self catering

The front was full of weeds and unkempt. It would have been nice if maintenance have cleaned up and spruced up the small garden to make it more appealing.

The flat is amazing. The flat is lovelily furnished and has all necessary appliances. The bedroom has the most amazing view. It’s very peaceful. There’s lots of cupboard space.

The walls are a little thin & you can hear neighbours conversations quite clearly. It didn’t bother me. Parking is not guaranteed. There are 3 rooms being rented out. There is only 1 parking spot. It is on street parking. DO NOT ACCIDENTALLY PARK ON THE YELLOW LINES. *The neighbours are by far the most unpleasant Karens I have ever interacted with*. The first morning we got woken up to a screeching banshee bashing on the windows to tell us she was parked in and was late for her soul soothing yoga. She then proceeded the tell us what inconsiderate waste of spaces we were. Moral of the story: neighbours are over paying for yoga that isn’t getting the core peaceful and kind messages of yoga through to them and the property should emphasise that you should park in the road perpendicular to the property if someone has parked in the 1 parking spot.

nice location. nice apartment but the wall at the bed side is really dangerous. I got hit by it several times.
