LA CASETTA DI AGNESE

Franco’s flat in Veranzza was a great experience for our family of three. About 100 steps from getting off the train you arrive, and not only are you in the center of the city, but a short walk away from all the sites and trails. Excellent dining is within steps from the flat (including Gamberro Rosso). Franco is an amazing and informative host, and is gracious enough to provide you with plenty to do while there and is always available if an issue arises. Otherwise, a fantastic experience.

The only feedback we would provide is that one of the fans in the home probably needs to be upgraded.

The best thing about the property is the owner Franco. What a gem. He met us at the station and took us to his centrally located apartment. Inside we found a bowl of fresh fruit, juice, milk, eggs, coffee and fruit tea waiting for us. He brought us an extra fan as it was very hot. Washing machine was welcome. He works at a local restaurant Il Gambero Rosso which is at the shore. Sublime fresh fish platter. Highly recommend. We based at Vernazza and took day trips to Portofino, Monterosso, and Riomaggiore. We also had a beach day at Vernazza.

It's in a great location, right on the main street in Vernazza. Communication with the host was easy; a person greeted us at the train station and brought us to the apartment, which made our check-in effortless. Coffee, fruit, toast, and jam on site was very nice, and having a washing machine was a bonus.

It would have been nice to have a cutting board in the kitchen, but otherwise, we were very comfortable.

Excellent little flat right in the centre of Vernazza. Comfortable, spacious, and a sofa too. Franco met us to show us the apartment, and also provided some fruit and other food for us. Only one flight of stairs to get up to the flat (I assume that many other locations in Vernazza have far more!).

Location was amazing! The unit had almost everything we needed for our few days. Good wi-fi, comfortable bed, good bathroom and a washing machine. Staff were lovely to deal with.

It was tidy, but the floor was dirty and had long hairs on it that definitely didn’t belong to us. We had to wear shoes the whole time we were in the unit or our feet would get dirty. It had maybe been swept but not had a good clean. The freezer was useless at it was all frosted over and only a small drink bottle could fit into it. A cutting board would be useful in the kitchenette. Also, a light for the staircase would have been handy.
