Bellshill Central Apartment

There was very little to like. The car park was handy.

The light bulbs didn’t all work. We contacted the owner to ask where spares were kept. He said there were no spares and that he’d have to cut our call short and get back to us in literally 5 minutes. Around 3 hours later at 11pm we got a text saying that he might be able to drop off some bulbs but we never heard again. There was meant to be a hairdryer according to the listing and we didn’t find this anywhere. The kitchen was very far from a fully equipped kitchen which is what it said in the listing. We had to literally walk through garbage to get upstairs to the flat. One of the bins (the way into the flat is through the bin storage) had been fire damaged and there was rubbish everywhere. It’s difficult to make your way through garbage carrying suitcases to your car. The stairs outside were the flat were very poorly lit and at night you had to worry about not tripping over some of the bin contents. We had to use our phone torches to get around. The outside of the flat stank of either bin contents or Greggs and other takeaway smells most of the day. The front door was difficult to lock and unlock. It needs replacing.

It was a lovely apartment Although there was bits of it that does need to be redecorated broken door handles replaced blinds dont work

The apartment was clean and spacious. It had a kitchen whuch was my main reason for booking rather than a hotel, so I could save money by not eating out.

The area is awful, the noise was terrible on Saturday night till the police came and took people away. There was kids and adults weeing in Alley way. If you are on your own I wouldn't recommend going out at night here. The bathroom door handle had fallen off so couldn't shut the door. The WiFi had to be paid for and TV didn't work without it so to advertise there is TV here is a tenuous claim.

So sad because the property wasn’t cleaned and maintained.

A little difficulty locating it.

The Flat was a good size for family of four, and the double bed was comfortable. Greggs is underneath for a quick breakfast.

It was dirty, dusty and in need of a vaccum. Duvet and pillows smelt. Electric radiators were all not fixed to walls correctly and made a lot of noise. Crockery in cupboards was dirty. Towels smelt of cigarettes. To enter car park, you have to go through a narrow tunnel.

The property was clean and spacious. The location was great. Communication from the owner is very much appreciated

Some of the heaters are not working and broken. It was so cold when we get in there. But can’t expect more to the cheap price we paid. But thats like the basic necessity
