There's nothing I did not like

The loft was so beautiful, spacious and homely. This is not the property or owners fault, since the property is nestled in nature you may encounter some creatures. If you have a fear of spiders just be aware, rain spider(s) may pay you a visit.

A perfect stay in Cape Town! Jodie’s loft is absolutely wonderful—beautifully designed, clean, and in a fantastic location. It’s the ideal base for exploring the city, with everything you need just a short drive away. The space itself is stylish and comfortable, and having access to a swimming pool was such a bonus. But what truly made our stay special was Jodie—an incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive host who made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town. Can’t wait to come back!

Good location

Had to share a bathroom with another guest. Really not acceptable

The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious with a beautiful bathroom. We were a family of three so it worked very well having the two separate rooms either side of the bathroom. The garden and pool were also beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The host was very friendly and accommodating and lets us use the outside area and sitting room, even the fridge. Finally, the location was perfectly situated. Highly recommended.

Although there was access to a kettle and tea/coffee downstairs it would have been nice to have a small kettle in the rooms as well for an early morning cup of tea.

The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful, with lovely finishes and tasteful furniture that create a welcoming ambiance. The bathroom was exquisite, offering a touch of luxury. The gardens are stunning, providing a serene and picturesque setting, and the shared swimming pool is truly a highlight—perfect for relaxation and enjoying the surroundings. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep, and tea and coffee are thoughtfully provided downstairs near the main kitchen, adding a convenient touch to the stay. Jodi was friendly and communicated well, doing her best to make the stay as convenient as possible given the limited amenities, which was appreciated.

This is primarily a place to sleep, with limited amenities for guests. There’s no fridge, kettle, or similar conveniences, and the main kitchen is not accessible to guests. On the positive side, tea, coffee, and rusks are thoughtfully provided downstairs near the kitchen, which adds a welcoming touch. While this setup is suitable for short stays, it is not ideal for longer visits. The absence of laundry facilities and a fridge made managing food and waste inconvenient, especially without a bin in the room. Additionally, the bathroom is not ensuite, requiring guests to step out of the room to access it, which compromises privacy. Overall, the limited amenities and setup made the three-day stay feel less comfortable and convenient than expected. Introducing small improvements, such as providing a bin in the room and access to basic facilities like a fridge or laundry, could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
