Close to the beach, spacious, easy to access

The location n at the beach is the only plus point.

Everything else. The hotel is like a deserted set from The Shining. No staff, long horrible corridors and old lifts that don’t take you to the right floors. Horrid.

Facilities in the house and supplies. No cleaning was ever done during our stay. The shower head was not replaced twice with the same faulty brand

Carvoeiro is one of our favorite towns in the Algarve. We were looking forward to staying at Villa Lourenco. Unfortunately, Villa Lourenco was a disaster.

Unbeknownst to us at the time of booking, an empty, disgustingly dirty swimming pool used as a furniture dump right below our balcony spoiled any thoughts of spending a month in the flat and we immediately booked an alternative flat in Armacao de Pera. We demanded our money back to no avail by either the property owner or booking.com. Please, please, please do not book this property.

The building complex is in a very poor state. Lights not working in the corridors at night . Damp smell. Very unkempt disused pool area which we looked out onto. Apartment quite old and in need of updating.
