Harbour Living

The location of the apartment was great. Lovely view of the harbour and close to all the amenities. The apartment was spacious, well decorated and lovely and warm and cosy.

The bed was a little soft for our liking and the ventilation for the bakery below, came on at 6am and did wake us. However, I was usually able to go back to sleep for a while longer.

The location, with views over Dartmouth harbour to the river, is right in the heart of the town. The included parking space was easily big enough for my Audi A6 and not too far away from the apartment. Dartmouth itself is full of nice pubs, restaurants and shops, all in easy reach. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and the dining area in the main room is fine for eating in and we made good use of it.

The bedroom was seriously hot; can't imagine what it must have been like during the heatwave. The room fan/chiller worked OK but it was too noisy to leave on all night. The route from bedroom to toilet is through the kitchen so not ideal.

The directions need altering we have visited and stayed in Dartmouth so know it Look for the post box is confusing because most people look for it on the front not in the side street if new to the town. The Alley outside was in need of major cleaning seeing the outside of the flat I was all for leaving it looked so dirty thankfully once inside was excellent. answered if anything else needed on owners survey. We thought it was on the front over the river not over the harbour and over a bakery.the noise from the traffic was 24/7 very loud and also from the holiday makers and dogs barking you had to have the windows open because the heat in the flat from the weather but also from the bakery below which started cooking very early so kitchen nosie and also being in the location pubs cafe it was just food smells all the time mixing with each other.
