Old Lodge Apartment 2 by Vallettastay

I was sent a text in WhatsApp which I didn’t receive until I was at the door. Previously communication was through messaging on Booking.com. Led to major issues. No sensor light. There was a lock box at the side of the door which had nothing to do with getting into the house. Had to ring the property owner just to be told that the number was for an emergency…mind boggling as this was 11pm and not being able to access the house. Eventually I got in after much frustration. Spoke to another couple who had similar problems.

Location near centar.

The apartment had a strong, unpleasant smell of dampness, and the beds were incredibly squeaky — every little movement made noise, making it hard to get a decent night's sleep. The induction stove didn’t work, so we couldn’t even make ourselves a proper coffee (yes, there was a kettle, but let’s be honest — it’s not the same). To top it all off, we could also hear the beds squeaking from the floor above. All in all, definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Location and the staff was amazing and helpful.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the air conditioning didn't work. Super hot. Also bathroom smelled.

Excellent pre stay instructions from Valettastay. Apartment located in a beautiful old building with an excellent location.

It would benefit from a new mattress and some more clothes storage

Mattress was not comfortable and there was no storage space

Amazing location and great value for money. It was spotless, and everything was well prepared.

The accommodation is incredibly humid. So much so that a barely wet t-shirt couldn't get dry in about 18 hours.

Perfect location and spacious apartment - loved the access to the roof terrace. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe 🙂

Very central position

They could improve a bit the facilities, for example the bed was making too much noise, there were no towels for the face or the hands
