Old Lodge Apartment 2 by Vallettastay

Property looks like on the pictures. It’s a perfect location in Valletta- 1 minute walk from the sea and 3 mins walk from Valletta centre.

It's the most horrible apartment we've had on vacations. It's very stinky inside - like mold and old stuff. It was impossible to breathe there. Opening the window didn't help as the apartment had an access only to the inner lobby. The bed was just TERRIBLE. It was narrow, bowed like a hammock, and so creaky that every time we made a movement, we woke up. It's one star. Awful experience! It's a shame to provide such a price for this place.

The flat had all everything we needed. The location was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was equiped with all the basic stuff. Cleanliness expectations were also met. The host was always available and fast in answering questions. I would recommend this property.

If I had to say something to improve, maybe I would provide with a better wine bottle opener. However, this is something that it is not necesary and there was one in the property.

Good location. Kitchen is good equipped. However, the air conditioning was working only partially. And, without air-conditioning. there is literally no air ventilation. It won’t help, if you open the windows, since the apartment is in the building. I noticed very unpleasant smell in the whole apartment, and the sofa was dirty and smelly. All of my clothes stunk from it even after I returned back and washed them. The apartment is cleaned only on the seventh day - in my case it wasn’t. You won’t get informed about that before. The building has no lift, for me another minus, if you have a luggage. Also when you enter, there are staircase that has no light, one needs to pay attention to not fall there. Not barrier free. Bathroom is very small, and there is little storage space, no cupboards etc. The communication with managers was good, they help if necessary, but that would not make me return. Quite disappointed.

The apartment was really nice and well organized. There you can find everything that you need. The self check in/out is perfect and easy. The location of the apartment is really close to the city center, that means a lot of place in which have fun, food, drinks.

Only two small things: the bed was a bit noisy and there is only one small mirror in the bathroom.

The location was great, minute walk from Valetta centre. The room was quiet and safe. The personel was very fast in responding and helpful with my request. The kitchen had all appliances needed.

The appartment was a bit small and without any shelves or wardrobe, so I had to have my luggage on sofa. There was no windows on street but only on the inisde of the main house.

The bed was terrible, noisy, and very creaking each time when you moved. It will keep you awake most of the night, which makes our experience very bad. The kitchen wasn't equipped. What's the point of having the oven if you don't have any pots and pans to use. The smell in the apartment is a bit off. For those who need to use their phones , there's no reception at all. So you depend only on wifi.

Excellent and quiet position in beautiful Valetta, close to all amenities. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The location is great - very close to everything you need and close to all the great restaurants, shopping, attractions etc. Very friendly and helpful staff always on top of things. Very quiet room.

No storage facilities for your luggage for early arrival or check out. If you need to store your luggage you have t o do it on an off site location and a taxi can not drive all the way to this location (walking street on a steep hill) No elevator. Difficult for an elderly person.

could do with more clothing space so you don’t have to live out of the suitcase. probably kitchen really to big for size of the apartment. also could do with instructions for cooker and hob. either unlock button on hob doesn’t work very well or I didn’t know how to work the hob.
