Tuynhuys Patio And Views City Centre

The location was convenient. The kitchen was well equipped with regards to appliances . The linen was clean and the bed was comfortable. Some of the towels looked new. When we arrived the front door didn't lock from the inside and Howard sent his maintenance guy to repair the lock the same evening. I did appreciate his concern for our safety. Although we never felt unsafe at all in the building.

The couch in the lounge was very uncomfortable and just really inadequate. The knives were completely blunt. And no can opener. The bedroom was missing a cupboard door. The ceiling in the second room may have a leak as it looked damp and bubbly with brown water marks.

Location was great. Central to most attractions around Cape Town. Can walk to most restaurants. Museum and planetarium are close by.

Long street does get loud. If you are traveling with kids, bring along a sound machine.

We had a comfortable stay (nice bed, clean linen, no insects) at Tuynhuys. It is a safe apartment and is well located. Wifi n Nexflix is a plus. Pleasant and well-spaced living room.

Noisy at night, but ok when door is closed. Food odour from the restaurants nearby can be disturbing at times. Some furniture, rug, cushions and bedhead were not that clean. A few maintenance in general is however needed.

Great location. Central to all attractions in the city. Easy check-in. Great communication by owners. Comfortable beds.

A few things need maintenance.

Very spacious and very safe.

A few broken things in the apartment, but it was not bad at all.
