Experience City Living with a Manhattan Twist

Good location, spacious living room, good Wi-Fi, clear instructions.

Guest room bed and mattress need replacing. Not ideal for more than a couple as there is only one full bathroom, the bathroom sharing is a downside.

Firstly when we got there agter 8pm, we were told that we were being relocated to a hotel for 3 days ... when we got there on day 4 we realised that this apartment was not as advertised- False advertising!! Advert says 2 bathrooms - only 1 ensuite with shower. 2 toilets - 1 toilet had a wash basin - not sure in whose books that constitutes a bathroom. 2 couples booked and 4 of us had to use 1 shower - threw our itinerary off daily. The one toilet did not work - a plumber was brought in and it did not work - agent came and lifted the lid of the cistern and adjusted some component, however, it barely worked - some water did come through but the toilet itself could not be used as it could not flush the toilet paper. The fridge did not work - our food stuff went off - it took 2 days for it to be repaired. The bed in one of the bedroom literally sank in the middle - the Portfolio Manager, Tino can attest to this, cos we called him to check this out and he came through. The toaster did not work - we were fed up. Much of our time was spent contacting the managing agents daily. We requested a refund or alternate accomodation, however the owner was seemingly unavailable for any contact. What was supposed to be a beautiful holiday was turned into a horrendous experience. We are consulting legal counsel - this is how unhappy we are. We should have been given a refund - we had no problem paying more for alternate accomodation. I will NOT recommend this accommodation to anyone. The entry door to the building - someone obviously tried to break in - a stone or object was thrown at this door - the glass had a shattered - not broken but the shattering was visible - glass was obvious toughened glass, this was the welcome into the building - the real possibility that someone had at some point tried to break in to this building. Horrific experience!!!

When we first got there the was no electricity, we had to wait for them to put meter. The place is huge but they don’t even have one heater. The place was cold. Not to even mention the other room. They put spare linen but they were so dirty with stains. The bad is too old, it’s not comfortable at all. 🙆🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️The shower, their shower sink takes time to absorb water so while you’re showering you still step on the dirty water.

That there are two bathrooms when it's not true Shower head was bad. You should change it to something big Waiting for gas as if they didn't know we were coming Place was not cup of tea

The place was clean and the staff were amazing.

There are a lot of stairs and the elevator was not working properly

Nothing, the door did not lock we did not even check in. Having no joy with the property managers or assistance from anyone at Soughted Property Management.

The front door was not locking, we did not stay and I have been since the date of check in trying to engage the property manager and agents on multiple occasions and platforms. I have no response or assistance. On the date of check in we asked to not check in as it was not safe and the place was dirty and had a bad smell.
