Great location and clean Good value for money

Location is fantastic. Perfect forexploration the old town, castle, etc. The main bedroom with double bed was comfortable.

Host was unobtainable until roughly 4.30 pm on the day of arrival so our first 5 hours round Edinburgh were spent with cases in tow. The bath leaked so flooded the bathroom when used. Pillows were stained brown in places. Main complaint were the two beds for our kids. The sofa bed had a metal bar vertically down the middle of it so it could only sleep one and that was perched on one side of it. The fold out z-bed as a second bed was missing springs so sagged in places so would never be comfortable to sleep on. We placed stuff undernearh it to try to hold it up so one could sleep on it. Basically, it is a fine appartment for two but for a family stay it is not good enough. We paid over £400 for two nights and that would be enough to buy a decent sofa bed for two and sort the main issue. It's trying to be a family stay and priced accordingly but furnished on the cheap. I did contact the host after our stay to give polite feedback but was and am still ignored (2 months later). For a family stay, I'd say avoid this property and host sadly.

The accomodation was horribel and dirty. The bath tub was dirty, there was a dirty dish in in the dishwasher when we arrived and dust everywhere. The beds for the kids weren`t done, not even the bedding. The fold-up bed was not usuable, so one kid didn`t have a bed to sleep in. There was only a tiny wardrobe with three broken hangers. We couldn`t find the apartment on arrival, as it is set in a courtyard. There were no instructions as to where to go, just the address which didn`t really help. The parking lot had another address but was really close to the flat. The key box wasn`t near the door but attached to a railing opposite. We didn´t get any of this information beforehand, it would have saved us so much time.

Location

It was a terrible place to stay. Not ready to have a customer. My family made beding by ourselves, the duvet was too dirty, the bed spring was too old, and beding was not clean. Also, the guest bed was almost broken and dirty, too. One number of cups was cracked, and the property was too cold. I never had this kind of place to stay for the holiday.
