JOIVY Elegant Home at the Heart of the Royal Mile

Living room was freezing cold and soo noisy, felt like all 5 windows were wide open, in freezing and snowy temperatures outside, soo disappointing after paying €1000 for 3 nights!!! Also the fire alarm went off at 5.30am tho, there was no fire, but a deafening blaring alarm/sound went on for an hour and a half. Our little family get together was ruined, we had to eat outfit every meal and go to the cinema in search of warmer conditions. Gráinne

Really central location with great open living space and good kitchen facilities.

The check-in was very confusing. The email confirming arrangements was sent far too late for us to see before arriving at the property. Staff on the phone were not clear and gave 2 different addresses.

Very well-furnished place, neat, clean and well-maintained . One thing missing was the microwave.

The steps leading to the apartment were dark and not cleaned properly.

Location was the best and new kitchen and bathroom with underfloor heating. The bed was comfy.

There was no key in the box when I arrived, I had to go to the office to ask for one. Then the wifi and TV didn't work. I called to ask for help after several hours I walked to office to get a maintenance person, found out that the call centre did not report the problem and "lied" when dropping off keys I aired my concerns to the office there was no appology and no concern. Very poor customer service and twice leaving customer standing in the rain waiting for assistance. Very disappointed with no concern or apology from either call centre or the office in Edinburgh face to face.
