Jewel of Royal Mile Apartment

It was very close to where we wanted and could walk anywhere from the location. There is kind of a hidden residential parking area for we assumed the complex and we did park there. Luckily there were a couple open spots. Once you park though, I wouldnt risk the chance of leaving until necessary.

Everything was fine. Split 3 ways it was adorable. It only has one true bedroom and bed. The complex is a bit rundown and has a lot of graffiti, but it was otherwise quiet except the people upstairs, but that was just old squeaky floors. It would be better suited for a family with kids, but was fine for an overnight say between friends.

The location of this apartment is excellent. We could leave our teenager for some time alone and knew we would be back fast, if necessary. Got every morning a coffee from the shop around the corner. Own entry is super. Well equipped kitchen. Toaster, microwave.

It's a bit sad to have the blinds all the time closed, because there are pedestrians walking in front of the windows. This has nothing to do with the apartment, it was good to have these blinds! Just a comment.

The outside area could do with being tidied. All the weeds are overgrown. There’s a table and chairs outside but we wouldn’t sit outside due to the state of the place.

Plenty of room, great location off Royal mile, quiet side street, had the basics in the kitchen

Slow to communicate, lacked homey feel, lacked care and thought for guests (broken lamp, fridge in the living room, chairs that didn't fit the bar), internet was sporadic, stiff bed

Clean, well-appointed, centrally located apartment. We were able to get a warm shower and quick night sleep. Responsive owner.

Not as ideal for sleeping 4 adults as I hoped. Sofa bed was not comfortable. So 2 adults needed to be chummy and sleep together on sofa cubes on the floor. No mirrors to get ready outside the bathroom, which is handy for multiple people.
