The West Bow Apartment

Very roomy and extremely clean apartment with comfortable bed and couch, great dining area with super comfortable and very cool lucite chairs, outstanding kitchen and cooking facilities, fabulously appointed bathroom, great heavy/soft towels, love the towel heater, adequate mirrors in two rooms for two people getting ready, beautiful and functioning sash windows one could open to let in fresh air and sunshine. Lovely flat all round!

Missing instructions in the guest binder for stove/oven and washer/dryer required a call and a lot of fiddling. Wall clock needs a battery. Most under-counter lights in the kitchen did not work. Kitchen could use a hand towel in addition to the dish towel provided. Fan in the dining area did not work properly. L-rm cushions old and pilled; replace with a beautiful Scottish tartan fabric that coordinates with the couch colour. Blank walls in dining-room could use a large piece of art that goes with the Edinburgh theme of the living room. Radiator in bedroom makes a knocking noise. Late night revellers loud in the late evenings.

Hi, Thank you so much we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We thought the cottage albeit cosy had everything you could ever want or need and it had every little thing you could think of, down to the smallest of details which just made it extra special. As I mentioned we got married at the weekend and yesterday was my husband’s 30 birthday, thank you very much for the card and little Prosecco, very grateful for the token. We would love to come and visit you again perhaps in the other cottages which we read about next door. I shall post this review for you. Many thanks again Jay and Emily

Pleasant space, clean, and a well equipped kitchen.

The advertised living room furniture which is featured very prominently in the advertisement, had been replaced by a single, uncomfortable couch. It made for awkward seating for two people.

La situación es inmejorable, el apartamento está muy bien para pasar unos días en pareja. Tiene acceso directo con una escalera desde la calle

El molesto chasquido de tuberías en la habitación que aunque suene dentro de la pared la propiedad indica que es ajeno a ellos. Suena toda la noche, depende de cómo tengas el sueño te va a molestar más o menos. Tuvimos que dormir con tapones en las orejas

The location was perfect apart from smoke coming from the kitchen of the restaurant beneath. Unfortunately it’s a steak house that serves fish and the smell confirmed this.

Property was great apart from the smoke coming from the restaurant below which seemed to come through the floor boards and stunk of fish a lot of the time. The noise in the night time is to be expected but from about 7 in the morning the is a lot of noise with staff from the restaurants emptying bottle bins first thing and you can hear every word said.
