The Hideout (Garden Flat, 4 Dragon Road)

Very clean and spacious apartment. Great location.

Beds were ok, not the best level of comfort but ok for one night. No baking trays or casserole type dishes for the oven.

The location was fab- only a ten minute walk to the city center. The apartment was clean except for one (packaged, fortunately) condom that my 5 year old found in his bedroom.

Well it’s obvious that the owner does not read or even care about the feedback from guests as all the issues that I encountered have been addressed previously. Major ones first - the double bed is so uncomfortable and squeaky that every time I rolled over I woke up my partner, and vice versa. There was literally no communication from the owner about how to find the property, or any info left. I’ve never stayed at a property that didn’t leave an info pack. There were definitely areas that needed updating- the carpets were stained, the bath tiling was mouldy. Then there were little issues like one toilet roll left for 5 of us for two nights. I’ve got three under 9 so not ideal… also there were no coat hooks. Again not ideal though just small quibbles in comparison to the other issues.

- Good location to the town centre (5-10 mins walk away) and across from Asda. Next to Asda was a carpark (literally a 1 min walk) where I could park my car for £8.50 for 24 hours. Also, electric charging points here, if you need them. - Spacious apartment for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, simple and contemporary interior. - It was clean overall, with immaculately clean bedding and well presented. - All easy to work out for how to get in and access the property - Road was quiet at night and no issues. - Clear communication for accessing the property and a late check out offered on Sunday, which we were grateful for.

- They could do a few little extra cleaning touches for those jobs that don't get done so often - dusty skirting boards and tops of switches, and radiators leak and we wiped the side of one and the marks scrubbed off. The carpet looked a bit tired in the lounge and had fibres sticking out that could have been trimmed for now. This did not affect our overall experience, as the bathroom and kitchen etc was all very clean and tidy. - I had read there were no locks on the bathroom door on previous reviews - it would be helpful if the owners took this on board and added some locks for privacy - even more so with there being 'Jack n Jill' style doors into the bathroom. Also, would be a good idea to pop a clothes rail or hooks in the cupboard in the bedroom with 3 single beds to hang up any clothes.

Lovely clean and modern apartment close to the centre of Harrogate, with lots of space for a group of 4. Convenient parking opposite. Great powerful shower with towels and toiletries provided. The apartment was bright and airy, lots of mirrors for our group to get ready too! Really enjoyed our stay here.

The apartment is a little difficult to find - behind an office building, set down some steps. The entrance to the property we felt didn't match the lovely interior. No proper signage and just a small stick on number on the door. Beds not very comfortable unfortunately. Personal preference but if tea is provided I would have liked to see Yorkshire tea rather than PG tips, you are in the home of Yorkshire tea! Sugar seemed quite old in the packets, and may be nicer to have tea, sugar coffee in containers.

Great location! Easy access and easy check in! Parked in Asda car park through Yourparking app and couldn’t have been any closer! Early check in from 12 too.

Only one toilet for the whole apartment, but biggy!
