Central Harrogate 2 Bedroom Apartment

- Very well situated - The double room was lovely, well decorated

- Windows wouldn’t shut properly so heard cars all night long - Entrance hall was filthy - A lot of damage throughout the property, it needs a huge refresh - Heater made loud banging noises all evening

Not much, location was okay.

No parking, dirty, things didn’t work, washing up not done, really noisy neighbours, in need of refurbishment…. I could go on!

The location was perfect.

It could just do with a little tidy up.

Leaving. That was definitely the highlight.

Looking for mould, sewage, and silence from your host? Look no further! If you’ve ever dreamed of spending your holiday surrounded by damp, crumbling walls, the soothing aroma of raw sewage, and a pile of rotting rubbish outside the door, this is the place for you. Bonus points if you enjoy being pretty much ignored for four days after reporting it. We stayed a whole 10 minutes before fleeing! probably the best part of the trip was the moment we walked straight back out the door. My mother has COPD, but I’m sure the mould above the bed was just part of the “authentic rustic charm.” The host did eventually get back to us, with a generous 30% refund offer. What a treat, considering we never even stayed. If you’re into being misled, breathing mildew, and chasing people for basic decency, this booking’s a perfect match. Avoid like the plague (which you might catch if you stay here).

It was well situated in relation to the town center and train station as well as the conference centre. With the asda within a 2 minute walk as well.

The walls showed signs of damp and the lighting in the stairwell didnt work so we had to use a torch to see our way to the apartment.

It appeared clean

Sadly all of it. Awful access, grubby building, pitch black hall, flimsy door. Stains on table, walls and furniture. Grim bathroom with holes in skirting boards that rodents could easily come through, parking much too far away, paint peeling off walls in the living room. Upstairs neighbour was shouting and banging and crashing around and we felt unsafe. Would look like the pictures if we travelled back to the day they were taken after the flat had been newly decorated...years ago im guessing. Whole flat needs to be updated massively. We walked in and then left straight away. Luckily we found a hotel or we were ready to travel back home.

Perfect location.

Just needs a bit of a refresh 🙂
