It's a real apartment with real kitchenette, washing machine, etc. Enough room to spread out a bit. View to volcano!

Room rate is very affordable. The elderly lady, probably the hostress, was just doing her job, neither particularly nice nor rude.

If you live on the lower floor (I think it's 4/F), there're 3 giant cables in a row right in front of the balcony. The stunning view shown on the pictures is only for those who are lucky to be allocated to the higher floor. The building is located right in front of the street, traffic at night esp. trucks was qutie disturbing The bath towel is more worn out than my kitchen towel, too hard and coarse to use. Bath towel isn't a luxury item I think?

The big plus for the apartment is the view of the volcano across the bay. It’s a short tram ride from the train station and an easy walk to the ferry across to Sakurajima. The owner doesn’t speak English, but it is very easy and quick to communicate via her daughter. The accommodation itself is well equipped - good to have a washing machine - but it is all very basic. For the price, we were happy with our stay.

WIFI a little weak

The many things we liked included: The view. The balcony. Proximity to ferry terminals. Easy access to downtown. Nearby grocery stores. Many great restaurants nearby. Washing machine in the unit. Comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Good location, about 10 mins to Tenmonkan. Great view from the room.

You can‘t beat this view of the vulcano. Nice little appartement with everything you need.

Great room and incredibly nice hosts. Location is both practical (near shopping street, tram station and several konbinis) and beautiful with a great view of Sakurajima. We loved the washing machine in the room as well as the kitchen equipment. Great value for money, will book it again next time.

Excellent view of Sakurajima volcano. Nice to stay in a typical Japanese apartment. Only a few minutes to main area and tram stop.

The light in main room is very,very bright. A small lamp would be much more pleasant to have as an addition.
