The London Road Apartment - 2BR/1BA

We really liked the cleanliness of the apartment, the cozy and stylish furnishings, possibility of adjusting the apartment temperature, the availability of basic kitchen and bathroom necessities. We also appreciated that the accommodation did not require an excessive deposit or additional cleaning fees. The communication with the host was very nice, the tips on how to spend time in Edinburgh were also interesting

Little storage space in the bedroom with a double bed, possibly more hangers for jackets when visiting in the cold season, and also some space to put shoes in the hallway - these are our small tips for improving guest comfort :)

Great location. Enough room for four adults or family (we were a group of 3). Kitchen well stocked with tea,coffee & sugar, small dishwasher and a washing machine. Great comunication from the property before check in, instructions sent with photos of the doors which was really useful. The flat is located on 3rd floor in a residential block with stairs leading up to the property. We didnt experience any issues but tenants had put signs up asking that main front door is closed properly to avoid strangers coming in to the building, which is fair enough! Flat was warm with adjustable thermostat, mostly clean -we found contact lenses on the bedside table and in living room, apart from that all clean with fresh bedding and towels

Water pressure for the shower wasnt great and this was not helped by the shower head itself which could I think could be fixed by replacing. That said we were able to shower albeit a lot slower than usual.

Apartment is Fully loaded with all amenities. Location is well connected with bus routes. Best way navigate within city with a Bus day pass and on foot. Difficult to find car parking and expensive too.. Good food & groceries all around.

The entrance to the building is a bit shabby.

Great little apartment and the owners have tried to make it very comfortable and homely. Well done.

The common stairs had a bike locked to it which made it hard work getting up the stairs when you are carrying luggage.

Clean, great mugs. Close to a shop and park. Close to city centre. Clear instructions to enter and depart.

Shower was super weak.
