"Great location, warm and cosy but there was a little traffic noise."

8.0

Location was fantastic, close to Waverley station which was helpful to us. Beds okay for our purpose. Heating brilliant as it was freezing. David was a responsive host and made heaps of suggestions. Dropped off extra towels when needed. Close to little supermarkets and bus stops.

In the directions it would be good to say that 7 London Rd was after Easter Rd crossroads. Water pressure not brilliant in the shower but that seems to be common in UK. The stairs with luggage were a bit of a challenge but we sorted it.

Really good experience. The unit is comfy and clean. The amenities are as advertised. The host is super helpful and very responsive. My daughter misplaced her retainer and the host mailed it back to me super fast. Really appreciate the extra mile that the host willing to do. I would highly recommend everyone to rent with this host.

"Disappointing"

3.0

Good points: There was enough toilet paper and bathroom supplies provided. The bedsheets and towels themselves were clean.

Lockbox: spoke to three different people by phone as I couldn't get it open. It's claimed that the key inside jams it, unsure as it was also very difficult to open to return the keys, it's just knackered. The only way to open is to bang it really hard. Entranceway: Cold, stone clearly an exterior hallway converted by the door. Angry posters all around from neighbours complaining about messes from vagrants that have been left in. No lights, bring a torch. Worst thing is someone locked their bike to the stairs halfway up making it difficult to get past and impossible to hold the stair railings on what are already slippy stone steps dipped and worn from use. Neighbourhood: Didn't realise but it's basically the walking rout to the football grounds, therefore leaving it and venturing anywhere on the Saturday was scary. Likewise at night drunks approached us for chats as we came and went. The shower head: Filthy and black round the water outlet holes, water pressure like standing under a dripping tap Floors: So dirty, I dropped something on the floor in the bedroom and there were ginger curly hairs on the floor round it, picking another thing from the floor in the lounge and more hairs (not our own) came up with it. If there is a cleaner, they also don't know about cleaning the heavy layers of dust on the skirting boards. Sink: cracked and dirty. Temperature: Perhaps it's not been rented in a while. It was so very cold, it took a full day to get the heaters to make it feel warmer than the outside. Electric outlets: Bring your own extension cords if you need electrical items (in my case CPAP and lamp) to actually reach the bed. All very basic cheapest furniture possible, clearly unloved property, needs basic maintenance too. I'm guessing the reaction to this statement might be that cleaning supplies were all provided in a big cupboard, however since we had not paid to visit to be cleaners for the weekend we did not take this up.

"100% recommend this apartment."

9.0

Location was great, just a short distance to the centre or trams that will take you to prince's Street. Very nice apartment. Clean and very well kept. Fully stocked so we didn't need to bring much (shower gel, shampoo conditioner and all condiments) local shops are next door for milk ect so very happy and will absolutely be back. Communication from the owners was also very good. Was avaliable if we needed anything at all which was very comforting.

Entrance hallway had no working lights so we had to use our mobile torches to go up and down the stairs (not a complaint at all towards the landlords) but though i would mention it.

"Unsatisfied customer"

3.0

Location- close to almost everything

The water closet cover is broken. The facility is not good for overseas travellers with big bags. It is not easy to climb The stairs with heavy luggage. If I have known this situation, should not have booked.
