The London Road Apartment - 2BR/1BA

Good location, short walk to the bottom of the royal mile, and very close to bus stops to get into town. The apartment was clean, spacious, and really quite perfect as a base while we visited Edinburgh. Some really great bakeries within a couple mins walk also! We had no issues during our stay, but when we did communicate with David found him to be very prompt and polite. Would happily stay here again :)

It's on the expensive side (due to our visit during the Fringe), unfortunately that's the same everywhere during August in Edinburgh!

Clean, not too far from city center/Princes street.

The building corridor entry area is weird, a bit trashy. The main door to the building needs instructions on how to open so just get those in advance since the actual keys don’t work. But the communication with the owner through booking was clear and he was available till 9pm so be mindful of that time. We were able to get in. No other issues.

It was easy to collect the keys from the lockbox.

I could’ve been informed that the lock was broken and that I was supposed to use the key fob. I was unaware of this and fiddled with the key for about 3-4 minutes before a resident happened to arrive and informed us how to get in.

Good location that allowed us to visit Edinburgh on foot.

The flat hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, which was off-putting. It took two calls to sort it out. The toilet seat wasn't securely fixed and risked falling off every time someone used it. Everything seemed to have been done on the cheap, with kitchen shelves dipping forward alarmingly. The single beds were too narrow for even a small, slim adult.

Was a bit difficult with the stairs. But other than that was excellent

The property was clean and close to the most important attractions from the area

I liked the property

Comfortable beds, little appartment but enough for a few days, bus down the street

No coffee machine
