Heritage City - Central York Place Apt

Good facilities, comfortable, close to town

Bit of confusion when we arrived on access but quickly sorted.

Location was excellent, convenient for tram, and shops very close by. Beds were comfortable and the view from the bedrooms was exceptional.

It was a fair old hike up the stairs, not that we really minded….On closer inspection the apartment is very tired, the sofa could do with updating, it’s lost the comfort factor and some of the chairs were broken. The shower head in en suite had no where to sit, and the doors didn’t close properly. All the doors in the apartment wouldn’t close properly and no locks on bathroom. There was a lot of leftover food/condiments which is not very good practice.

We are two families (four adults and two children), with three bedrooms and two living rooms (living room and dining room) located well, and the Edinburgh scenic area is not far away. The price is also relatively moderate. There's no problem with the shower water. The kitchen utensils are complete, including a dishwasher, oven, and microwave.

Great location Everything we needed was there, kitchen was well fitted out. Clean Bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels. Bedding was of a good quality Amazing views from the bedrooms. Enough space for five of us. Hearing worked well.

It was difficult to speak to the management company whilst we were there and didn’t get any response. we needed a high chair which said was included however we couldn’t find one. when we asked we didn’t get any response, so difficult to feed a toddler, great for adults though.

Everything! Apartment was fabulous, very well equipped, spacious, beautiful. The location was fab and we absolutely loved it here. We also really appreciated being able to drop our bags off early, while cleaning was still underway. Check in/out very convenient. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike. One suggestion to supply some an extra key(s).
