Royal Mile, Edinburgh - 2 Bedroom Apartment

The location is absolutely fantastic – it's incredibly close to all the major attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the accommodation added an extra layer of comfort to my trip.

The location was great, the host was very helpful

There was brown bits in the sugar and some of the glasses and knifes and forks where dirty. There is no hot water in the kitchen or if you want to have a bath only in the shower. The double bed was really uncomfortable and as a result I have pulled a muscle in my neck and now have to go to see a physiotherapist so I am in a lot of pain from sleeping in the bed. And I think the host should of said about the stairs as they are very steep and dangerous for a toddler to go up and down 3 flights of stairs like this.

The location is fantastic, close to all attractions, shops and amenities. So much to do and within a walking distance of the accommodation. The accommodation was first class. It exceeds our expectations. Very well maintained property, comfotable, so clean.

We had an amazing stay on the Royal Mile, the flat was perfectly located right in the middle of all the main attractions, so we were able to walk everywhere. The flat had everything we needed, fully equipped, very comfortable beds, nice pillows and duvet. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The bedrooms were at the back of flat which meant it was nice and quiet, amazing views over the Royal Mile. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Edinburgh. John was the perfect host and helped us when we got lost

Outstanding location.

Water/shower was difficult to get right. Very low water pressure on shower.

Spacious, well-equipped accommodation in very central location.

The amplified music from the street outside made the living room a bit uncomfortable to spend time in at certain times. There is no luggage storage solution after checking out at 10am.

Hard to Climb spiral staircase with luggage. The apartment was very dated. The water in the bathroom sink didn’t work properly. Maybe it’s on a pump? Ran out of hot water for the tub. Didn’t get it to 8 inches of water and it was cold. The window in bedroom rattled with the wind. Very stuffy so we had to crack it.

Location was perfect. Right on the Royal mile near St Giles' Church. It was a short walk from the station and we had so many places to visit which were so close, not to mention all the lovely restaurants

Can't think of anything, given the age of the property.

Our wonderful apartment was comfortable and had lots of amenities to help with cooking and laundry. The windows viewed directly on High Street of the Royal Mile, and we watched the grand Riding of the Marches horse parade with front row seats. There were so many restaurants, museums, shopping and proud reminders of history right at our door step. A magical home base to explore Edinburgh.
