Luxury Renovated 1 Bed Nr St James - Super Central

Everything was great!

I stayed for almost 2 months, and I liked it a lot! -the location is simply perfect!! Very central and super safe. Everything is within walking distance. I loved staying at York Place. -There's a lovely Cafe underneath the apartment -Excellent self-check-in and check-out: received a helpful video before arrival that explained everything, wherefore it all went smooth -The staff of Rentir was always kind and accommodating + they replied fast. -The apartment is exactly like in the pictures. I felt very comfortable. -There's Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc., on the TV logged in and ready for you to use -The shopping center St. James Quarter is only 1 minute away. Very convenient. -My family visited, and Rentir provided a travel cot and clean bed sheets :) Recommend!

-The wifi connection was often very weak... even a simple Google search took too long. -Windows are very thin; you hear everything going on outside! It was annoying because sometimes sleeping was almost impossible due to the 1 am construction workers of the St. James Quarter, which is directly in front of the window. Not only that, even during the daytime, from 7:30 am until 6 pm, the construction noises were loud throughout January and February. Working from home was uncomfy; I had to work in coffee shops or the library. -The apartment is somewhat overpriced. -Tidy, but not perfectly clean. For example, the fridge had lots of food stains, and the nutribullet was extremely dirty (it looks like no one bothered to clean it, so I had to). Also, there was a bag in the closet with very gross towels and used bed sheets - however, Rentir reacted quickly and had someone pick it up the same day, which I appreciated.

Very beautiful apartment. Everything was clean and easy to use. Good kitchen and shower. I liked that there was a sofa bed, tall windows, absolutely amazing oven, dish washing machine, and good water pressure. The check-in and check-out procedures were easy to follow, and the videos provided were great!

The only thing that I was not too keen on was the sofa bed mattress, pillows, and the duvet- seemed too thin. Saying that, I was grateful that there was a sofa bed in the apartment, and that the sheets were provided.

Everything! Couldn’t fault the property at all, well equipped & beautifully minimalistic. Fantastic location for exploring Edinburgh, walking distance to all attractions however also felt secluded from the busy hustle of the centre. Would love to stay here again!
