The amenities within the property were great, every utensil and need was met.

That the sofa bed wasn’t made up and there was no bedding for it, I booked for 2 adults which was presumed to be a couple. Which was my son and myself…. Not the best

Everything. We did not meet the owner but we meet Paul, the maintenance person who helped us carry luggages to the apartment, which is on the first floor. Apartment is not too big, but well arranged, you have everything you need. Kirkcaldy is a peaceful town, from there it takes 35min by car to get to Edinburgh. Cristina was always responsive to my questions. Thank you!

Lovely apartment with good facilities and very central for bus and trains. Spotlessly clean and ideal for a weekend visiting friends.

Towels that were left were very small, large bath towels would be appreciated.

Location and laundry facilities. The apartment is definitely not suitable for 4 people. Two people might have a better experience. The owner answered promptly to our questions.

We found that the photos in the ad led us to believe that the apartment was much more spacious than it actually is. With two adults and two kids with luggage, there was no space to move and we could barely open our suitcases. No room to sit other than the uncomfortable kitchen stools and two sitting chairs that we had to use for our bags. The laundry facility worked great but it was communal (I might have overlooked this detail in the ad but it should be made clearer). There was no room to place toiletries in the bathroom and little room to hang towels. The bathroom is a bit dingy and smelled musty because there is no ventilation. The kitchen was not well equipped (for example there where literally 4 forks and four knives and not even the same set). We did not find the apartment particularly clean (there was hair on the sofabed pillows and in the bathroom).

Excellent central location, full flat including kitchen facilities, TV, hairdryer etc. Main bedroom very comfortable. Door code system fairly easy to operate.

No additional bedding for the sofa bed despite requesting in advance. I used a thin blanket and cushions as pillows but it wasn't cold so it was okay in the end. Shower was nice but easy to slip, would recommend putting a rubber mat in there.
