Good location perfect for a one night stay

The property itself had everything you needed and there was enough space to move around, as we were a family of 5. Details of how to arrive at the property were given promptly and wasn’t too hard to find, however the address on the actual booking is different to what is given on what’s app. Overall, a comfortable space to stay for at least 1 or 2 nights.

Only posting my honest review as I’d want to find the same honesty from others. The only thing that let this property down was the cleanliness of the beds. The bed sheets, linen and pillows were not changed ‘or apparently were’ and we found hair and dust across all 5 beds and it didn’t smell clean. Despite sending photos and videos to the owner, the reply was that feedback would just be given to the cleaners and I felt left disappointed that both the owner and booking.com couldn’t somewhat compensate. Me and my family slept on top of the duvet sheets and covered our pillows with T-shirts as we felt very uncomfortable to lie and use the beddings. Also, parking is tight and directions to find property could be better improved.

There are lots of beds, which is good for a group or family & the decor is nice. The kitchen is well equipped for its size.

The post should really be much more explicit about the parking situation. We could not find the address from their postcode or poor directions & when I did find it, the parking is a tiny space at the bottom of a very narrow lane. It was very difficult to park in & a huge hindrance. I would NOT recommend it unless you have a tiny car. As there is only space for one car, my husband followed the instructions to park in a carpark "2 mins away", this was closed. He was directed by a neighbour to Asda - which is literally right next to the flat - or another one which you pay at. Again, this should be communicated clearly on airbnb so you know what you're getting. Another big downer for us was the 2 very bright nightlights right outside one of the bedroom windows - which you can't turn off. To make matters worse, these flickered on & off ALL NIGHT LONG. I usually never write negative reviews but this alone has got me to. We only came for 1 night & needed a good night's sleep, which was never going to happen with bright lights flashing into the room all night. Lastly, the bathroom has a really bad smell. At first, I presumed someone had used it before we checked in but the smell never went away. There's clearly a sewage problem/ toilet blockage which needs sorting ASAP. Overall, sadly, a bad stay. I wouldn't recommend unless you're desperate, sorry.

The place had lots of bedroom space but not much living room space got 7 people, but only 4 in our group so the room was ok.

we arrived at the property and it had not been cleaned, beds had been slept in, and dirty towels on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was dirty with dishes not clean, and bins not empty. in general, the place was used and not cleaned after. this is the first time this has never happened to me when booking.

Direction finding the property.the car parking is confusing,there need to be a sign on the wall to say where to park as we were unclear if we were blocking someone else’s steps and parking.The couch was far too low.
