location location location....excellent could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Mary let us in early so we could leave our suitcases before venturing out.

lack of shampoo, and soap but may have been because we interrupted the cleaners.

The location was ideal!

The WiFi was weak. The second bathroom was very tiny and the water in the sink barely trickled out.

Great location, easily access all the major sites in Edinburgh. Down one set of stairs to Grassmarket, up a set of stairs and you are at the front gate of the castle. Short 3 minute walk to Royal Mile. The apartment is quiet, beautifully decorated and very clean. Well equipped kitchen. The 2 bathrooms were a big plus. Although there are 2 flights of stairs to the apartment, my 85 year old mother had no problem with them.

The best location we could imagine; wonderfully set, very well furnished and equipped apartment; even if in the city centre, it was very quiet at night. Communication with the keeper was excellent, Mary was responding fast and was very helpful, always providing useful assistance. Thank you!

Steep stairs from the outside and then to the first floor were a bit tough for handling the luggage up for two older ladies, but it did not spoil overal positive impression. The hall is rather dark, more light would help.
