The Westfield

The property is centrally located to all the places that we planned to visit. Very clean, new hub for cooking and walking distance to Sainsbury and Aldi to buy whatever you fancy cooking and McDonald's if you have young children. There is also Starbucks inside Sainsbury. There is also a washing machine, kettle with tea, coffee and sugar and washing up liquid. I love that we have plenty of pillows and towels.

no microwave and the mattress is a bit hard.

The apartment was great and communication with the owner was excellent. Kitchen facilities were also excellent and in good working order and bedrooms comfortable. We found parking nearby and used the bus into Edinburgh as the bus stop was only a few metres from the apartment, Sainsbury's and shops nearby. The entry area to the apartment block was a bit dingy and could do with some attention but the apartment itself was excellent.

The entry to the apartment block could do with a cleanup and a coat of paint but that no way reflected the condition of the apartment itself which was clean and well maintained.

Host was very communicative.  Room was comfortable and clean.

The common areas of the building are poor. Heavy cigarette smoke in common areas but not in the room.

The host was very kind and helpful.

Clean, close to bus stop, supermarkets nearby, good wifi, well fitted kitchen. Owner very friendly, checked in on us and answered questions very fast via whatsapp.

second bedroom is actually just a walk in closet, big enough for a bed and a chair and no windows
