It was a really peaceful and beautifully furnished place which was a delight to come back to!

The apartment was very cold when we arrived and it took about 2-3 hours to warm up (not nice after a long journey).

Brilliant location, beds are comfy. This was our second visit, it’s never disappointed.

We were a group of 4 so an extra key would have been helpful

The location was fantastic. It was amazing getting to stay right on the Royal Mile in a building from the 17th Century! The accommodations were comfortable and the flat was tastefully decorated. The host was responsive to any messages that we sent.

It would have been nice to have a couple of extra blankets. The spiral stairs were a challenge with luggage, but we were amply warned about that and expected it. Part of the charm of the place!

"Good, except for shower issue."

The location was great, the apartment was fine.

It would have been better had we been able to use the shower. Unfortunately, the drain was backed up and the water could not drain properly. I called the management company on the day of our arrival and left a voicemail with my cellphone number. I never received a return call. Pretty disappointing for such a prestigious host.
