La Skala - Apartment with great sea view

The view of the ocean is one of the best in Essaouira and the apartment is perfectly located in the Medina. Everything is walkable. Just perfect.

The main bathroom was a little tired but more than fine. Some new towels wouldn’t go amiss either.

The location and the views from the apartment are amazing! We really enjoyed watching the sunset from the living room. It has modern decoration and it is very spacious. The beds were comfortable. Special thanks to Mustafa, for his helpfulness and hospitality.

The apartment felt and smelled clean overall, except for the en suite bathtub of the double bed bedroom which seemed to need renovation. That particular bathroom may also not have been very well ventilated, as there was a damp smell in the air.

When we arrived it was clean but not fully appointed yet, but staff quickly provided missing items. Not a criticism but good to know: two bedrooms and two bathrooms but one not en suite.

Fantastic location with stunning views over the ocean, such a shame that poor attention to detail and cleanliness lets it down.

The kitchen was dirty and greasy, the fridge hadn't been cleaned, there was also a lot or dust gathered on the lights, tv's etc. It needed a good clean. On arrival we were promised contact from the host, this never happened. There where not enough towels in the apartment so these were promised to be delivered, they weren't, we had to go and get them. The description of the apartment says there is a spa, there isn't, it also says there is daily housekeeping, this didn't happen and wasn't offered.

The design of the apartment is fantastic and the view spectacular. The host ist very helpful and friendly.
